About Barbara Curlee

Captivated by the awesome beauty of the creator‘s handiwork displayed in a New England fall landscape, Barbara first experienced the undeniable desire to paint. A painter of many subjects, oil and pastels the media of choice, Barbara has work in homes throughout the mid-south.
Barbara spends time now painting portraits at her studio, the most challenging and rewarding work of her career. In her work she strives to capture a special moment in the life of her subject, their unique physical characteristics, and the essence of their personality in a timeless work of art that can be treasured for a lifetime.
